This lighting kit is perfect for either street bikes or cruisers. Mounting is simple with the included brackets and wire ties. Almost everyone that has a sports bike in my area, either have blue or red lights, so i guess its just one of the very few places its legit.

In most 50 states, the laws are as follows: Police emergency colors - Blue (and somtimes blue & Red) Fire emergency colors - Red Medical emergency colors - White, Blue, Amber, or Red Universal non-emergency assistant vehicles: Amber If you have Red or Blue (and maybe white* and amber**) you deffinately will be fined if spotted. Those colors are registered specifically to emergency response vehicles. They can hit you with impersonating an emergency responder. Check local laws about White, and Amber colors. * - varies from state to state ** - varies from state to state

Check with local law enforcement to see if these are legal in your area

Some if not most Highway Patrol and police will cite you if you install lights such as these. Check to see if you are legal before installing them.
